This is the last week of classes before Christmas break. Please bring a snack, cookies, fruit, drink to share with the class during the party. Dancers should wear anything Christmas-y for the performance. Classes that do not have a Christmas routine will have regular class. If you are performing an another class time, you still have regular class this week as well. Everything is very informal.

Classes resume January 5th.

Special 4 week Adult Dance Class. Tuesday evenings from 8:15-9:00pm. Nov 11, 18 and December 2, 9. No class the week of Thanksgiving. Jazz and Hip Hop style dance.

Check out the Special Opportunities Page to get information and to register for the competition team. This is only available to students currently enrolled in or with experience in jazz/hip hop level 3 or higher.

Several classes have some spots still in them for returning or new dancers. If you are interested just check the registration page or email Heather about the class.

BRING A FRIEND TO DANCE WEEK is Oct 13-17. All classes (except Advanced) can bring a friend to their class and they can participate for free! In larger classes, please limit it to 1 friend per dancer) 😉

I’m so excited for classes to start this week. If you still need to get shoes, there are several options:
1. Bottoms Up in Okemos on the corner of Okemos Rd and Hamilton,
2. Order them from the studio (I’ll be placing a shoe order at the end of this week Sept 12). A sizing kit is in the front of the dance room under the bench.

In all cases, be sure note that dance shoes size differently than street shoe sizes, especially for younger students. Often the dance shoe needs to be 1-2 sizes bigger than the street shoe.

If you do not have shoes yet this week, please still come to class. There are used shoes in the front window of the dance studio that students can borrow or purchase. $10 ea
