Check out our summer camp page. It has the schedule of summer camps available for preschool through 13 year olds! However, if you don’t see a camp that works for you, just get a few friends together and we will make a special camp just for YOU! Minimum of 4 students in a camp.

Several dancers returned from competition this weekend with Sophisticated Silver Awards. The girls competed in the novice category with 5 different routines. It was hard since we don’t have a stage to practice on for spacing and our regular classes are only once a week, but the girls tried their best, had a great time and it helped build their confidence! Congratulations!

Classes for Friday Feb 24th, 2012 are cancelled due to weather issues. The Mid Season Celebration for the Friday classes will be next week. Shoe order will go in Monday instead of this weekend if you need to order shoes. Email heathersdance@att.net if you need shoe order information. Have a safe and fun snowday and a great weekend!

Classes for Tuesday January 17th are cancelled due to icy weather conditions. I was on my way to class, but turned around half way there. Too slippery now, it will probably only get worse. See everyone tomorrow or next week.

Even though there was a ton on snow last night at St. Johns didn’t have school today, dance classes are NOT cancelled. As always, only come to class if you feel safe doing so. Have a great week!

#1 Be a Costume Angel… Several students need help paying for their dance costumes. $60 per costume. Donate any amount anonymously to assist a family in need.

Dance costume orders and money are due this week! If you can be a costume angel and provide a costume for a student that may not be able to participate, please let me know ASAP!

Please note the following adjustments for the Monday Classes
the Pre Dance Class at 4:30-5 has been disolved. The Tap 1 class has been disolved. The time has changed for Pre Tumbling, Ballet 1 and Jazz 1 has been combined. Another Pre combo has been added.
The Monday schedule is as follows:
4:30-5:00 Pre tumbling
5:00-5:45 Pre Combo (if you are signed up for wed or fri, you can change to this class)
5:45-6:30 Ballet/Jazz 1
6:30-7:00 Tumbling 1
7:00-7:45 Tumbling 2
7:45-8:30 Tumbling 3/4

The studio allows for students to get comfortable in school classes before beginning dance classes for the season. So, classes don’t begin until next week! Still need to enroll? Heather will be at the studio Wednesday Sept. 7th from 4-7pm to accept enrollment.
I also plan to make another Pre Combo class for the cute little 3-4 year olds that want to dance, but it will take the place of other classes that don’t fill up, so…. that will be forthcoming by Friday or Saturday of this week. Be sure to get enrolled so that we can plan everything out.
