Although St. Johns Public Schools closed school today, dance classes are NOT cancelled. Students that can make it in to class should do so. As usual, please do what is safe for your family. The studio will be open tonight for regular classes.

All dance classes for the studio for this evening Monday December 13th are Cancelled. Have a great Christmas and New Year and I will see everyone back to class on Monday January 3rd.
All classes for the rest of the week are still scheduled to take place.

With all the school closings, don’t assume that there isn’t dance tonight. If roads get cleared and things look good by noon today, there will still be class. If it is cancelled, I will post on here by 1:00pm, otherwise assume that there is still dance tonight! Last week before Christmas Break!

Although many classes are full, many are also still accepting more enrollment. Want a certain class? The studio has some times open for other classes. If you would like a certain class offered for a certain age, let the studio know and there many be a chance of getting that class. Contact the studio for availability of classes.

Students enrolled in Jazz/hip hop or Ballet/lyrical in levels 2 or 3 are offered the FREE Turns and Leaps class every third Tuesday of the month beginning this month. This is to suplement student classes with limited space where we cannot work on running leaps or long lines of chanie or pekay turns. First class, Tuesday October 19th 4:30-5:15pm

I will still accept enrollment in most classes. Some of them are getting full and with the dance room being smaller, class sizes will have to be limited. Please call to enroll if you havn’t sent in registration yet!

Ballroom Dance Classes still accepting enrollment for adults 18 and older. 10 student minimum to have the class be a “go” Call to register. $65 per student (no registration fee) 45 minutes for 5 weeks.

Combo classes: students only need 2 pair of shoes, NOT a different shoe for every style of dance. Tap shoes and a soft shoe (recital will need black tap and black jazz shoes) but to start classes they can be any color and can be ballet or jazz shoes. The students still only purchase 1 costume, but perform 2 routines in the recital.

Classes that are only 8 weeks long and no recital!
Specifically designed for students that want to dance or have a taste of dance but don’t want or can’t afford the recital. 3 different sessions this year on Thursday afternoons.

Don’t worry, the schedule for next year is nearly finished. I will have it posted soon. Also, with the move almost finished, I will schedule a few summer camps late July and August.

The previously scheduled picture day of Saturday March 27th is CANCELLED and RESCHEDULED for Saturday April 17th. The times for each group and individual picture is the same.

Please use your best judgement regarding safety for your family, but we will still be having dance classes tonight. Monday Feb. 22nd.
