I’ve been honored to be working with the Portland Civic players this season on their production of Shrek the musical.
Several of our dancers from St John’s area will be performing as rat tap dancers and Duloc dancers. Although the play is one of the same weekends as SJHS play, you could still go to a different show.
I’ve been watching rehearsal clips and it is proving to be very funny. 😄

I can hardly believe that it’s the last week of September already!
As we transition into everything Fall, we will begin doing combos to Halloween music. I try to be very accommodating to families that do not do Halloween. If you are one of those families, please Lmk.
Songs I might use in October include, monster mash, purple people eater, I want candy, witch doctor, thriller, etc.

Secondly, parent watch week is the week of Oct 17-20, which is also when I will show recital costumes to each class!

Lastly, PLEASE put your students names in their shoes!

Please note that call time is the time that I would like your dancer at the school, ready to perform his or her first routine. It is NOT a guarantee of time of practice. When you arrive, go to pictures if you are scheduled, then find a spot in the auditorium and listen for your class to be called. Dress Rehearsal is the dancers time to watch other performers, but please stay seated and respectful of noise. Only one adult per dancer at dress rehearsal please.
