Heather’s Dance Company Competition Team 2018/2019:
Requirements: Currently enrolled in any dance class at HDC ages 6 to 18 years old. Here are the opportunities:
#1 Production Team: (required to be on competition team) Ages 6-18, Jazz/Hip Hop routine, Immabee mash up
#2 Semi Creepy Contempt Team (Optional- but must be on Production Team in order to participate) Ages 10-18, Contemporary routine, Beautiful People Beautiful Problems Mash up
Register Online beginning Oct 4
To participate, you must commit to the following:
Classes begin the week of December 6. There are 20+ hours of rehearsal for each team. You may only miss 3 hours of practice time per team (only 1 of the Christmas break practices) total before being removed from the group. This includes ALL excuses regardless of fault, sickness or homework. If you cannot make a practice, you are REQUIRED to notify me via text or email.

Lesson Cost: $168 per person-includes both teams if applicable ($42 per month- Dec-March- no multi class or sibling discounts available- yes the cash/check discount still applies)

#3 Showbiz Talent March 16-17 Ford Community Arts Center 15801 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI . $55 entry fee per routine

#4 OPTIONAL Engery NTC May 4-5 Godwin Heights HS 50 35th St Southwest, Wyoming, MI $55 entry fee per routine. *Decision required by February 1st. (other classes will be asked to this comp as well)
We will only compete one of the days per weekend not all weekend, but we will not know when until a week before when they put their schedule together.
Hip Hop Song: Immabee Mash Up. Story of bees and hornets! Hive prop (some tumbling opportunities)
Creepy Contemporary Song: Beautiful People with Beautiful Problems Mashup
Costume: *$70 hip hop, *$70 Contemporary, $15 footless tights, $50 work boots, bare feet for contemp.
*due with regular costume orders November 16th., shoes and tights required by Feb 1, 2019.
Makeup: False eyelashes $7 –same as last year
Make up: Smokey eye, eyeliner, mascara, red glitter lips kit Price TBA about $55
Jewlelry: earrings 18 mm $12
Other possible expenses: Make up: full coverage foundation- required, eyeliner, mascara, blush,
Fund Raising: You are welcome to fund raise through HDC Missions as long as the following is met:
1) All events must be available to all participants in the competition group (you are not required to fund raise)
2) Events must be organized by the parents (I will NOT organize or track monies)
3) I must approve all events using my studio name.
Examples: bake sales, car wash, can drives, selling stuff (thirty one, car wash, pampered chef, etc.) spaghetti dinner, pancake breakfast, parent night out, etc.
