The dance recital Just Dance 2018 will be held at the Portland High School on Saturday May 19th at 11:00am (Show A) and 3:30pm (Show B).  The dress rehearsal is Tuesday May 8th (2 weeks before the show) at Portland High School 1100 Ionia Rd., Portland, MI  48875

With this venue change, the price of the recital tickets will be lower than last season!  Price and information forthcoming.

The recital costume order forms are due November 19th, 2017.  Before Thanksgiving break.  Please return your form regardless of you intent to participate.  If you need or can participate in the costume angel program, please contact Mrs. Heather at heathersdance@att.net

Each class has a specific costume order form, depending on the company I will order the costume from.  The costume picture that is on the wall of the studio has a CG, or a RD, or a W on the bottom. That is your code for what form to use.  If you give me the wrong form, don’t worry, I will transfer the measurements to the correct company.

The used shoes at the front of the studio can be swapped out or purchased for $10.  The funds go toward the Costume Angel Fund.

The snack table at the dance studio is stocked each week by a different Disney Team member.  Funds from the snack table go toward that individual’s costuming needs. Bring your change, each item is $.75

Ages and classes level are guidelines. If the skill is present, adjustments can be made. Each class is designed to be taken 2 years in a row. Older beginners welcome and encouraged.

It is not too late to register for dance classes.  Only a few classes are full to capacity.  Here is the update schedule effective 8/31/17- note some time changes for Wednesday in particular.

The season is from Sept – May.  Our annual recital is the 3rd weekend in May.  All classes (except turns and leaps) participate in the recital.  Participation in the recital is encouraged, but not required.  Costumes at $65 and orders are due before Thanksgiving.

REGISTRATION FOR 2017-2018 season – registration begins June 15!

Pre Dance (ages 2-3), Pre Level (ages 3-4), Level 1 (ages 5-6), Level 2 (ages 7-9), Level 3 (ages 10-13), Level 4 (ages 12-18), Advanced/Elite (ages 12 and up with appropriate skill)

When registering for a 2017/2018 dance season class, there is a one time $10 registration fee per class. This fee is non refundable, but holds your students spot in the class. Several popular classes fill up. If a class fills up, the spots go to the registered students that have paid their registration fee. No other payment is due until September, when lessons start.

Please note that you can register for a class with this link. (if there is not room in a class, you will be prompted to be on the waiting list) You have the OPTION to enter credit card info and pay with a cc, this is not required, just offered for customer convenience.
